Taking your eyes off the road, even for a second, can cause an accident. Make sure you stay alert and focused on your driving.

2. Don't overload your car

The number one cause of accidents with teen drivers is distractions from other passengers. Don't load too many friends in your car when driving!

3. Watch your speed
